Prof. Vassya Bankova 
Full professor, Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria
Brief Introduction: Professor Bankova has been exploring the chemical properties of propolis for over 30 years contributing to over 200 papers, she has an h-index of over 60. She received the Elsevier Award for excellence in global research, in research topics in which Bulgaria has a significant and growing global impact for her studies on propolis, in 2018.
Research Interests: devoted to the bee product propolis (bee glue): its chemistry, plant origin, biological activity, health-promoting potential, analysis, standardization.
Presentation Title: A green way to obtain bioactive extracts from natural sources: the NADES

Prof. Ilkay Erdogan Orhan
Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Turkey
Brief Introduction: Dr. Orhan received several awards such as Young Woman Scientist Award in Asia continent by OWSD & Elsevier, Science Award in Biology by COMSTECH, Young Woman Scientist Award (in Life Sciences) by L’Oreal & Turkish Academy of Sciences, and Honor Award by Gazi University, Innovation Award for Women in Turkey, Science Award by Turkish Association of Pharmacists, Golden Mortar Science Award in Pharmacy, Silver Medal for Patent in International Invention Fair by Turkish Ministry of Science and Technology as well as Best Academic Invention Medal by IFIA. Her h index is 46 (Web of Science) and 51 (SCOPUS) with over 9000 citations.
Research Interests: Pharmacognosy, phytotherapy, herbal medicines, herbal cosmetics, natural product chemistry

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Grosso
Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Catania, Catania, Italy
Brief Introduction: He has been recognized as Highly Cited Researcher from Clarivate-Web of Science and he is the President of the Food and Nutrition Section of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA). He has an H-index over 60.
Research Interests: impact of dietary and lifestyle habits on common non-communicable diseases, evaluat the effects of dietary pattern and specific antioxidant-rich foods as well as individual antioxidants on non-communicable diseases.
Presentation Title: Role of ultra-processed foods in mental health.
 
Prof. Bing Wang
Professor in Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology, Charles Sturt University, Australia.
Brief Introduction: She has made major contributions to the field of Nutritional Neurobiology and Glycobiology, and thus has emerged as an internationally recognized leader on the nutritional significance of human milk sialylglycoconjugates and brain cognitive development, has an H-index of over 20.
Research Interests: key area of molecular biochemistry & molecular biology with an emphasis on nutritional Glycobiology/Sialobiology and brain function, particular interests of neurodevelopment, cognitive function, eye and vision function, gut-brain axis for brain cognitive function using piglet as an animal model.
Presentation Title: The pros and cons of sialic acid glycans in red meat of different animal species on human health.
 
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cataldo Pulvento 
Associate Professor, Department of Agricultural and Environmental Science, University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy
Research Interests: Soil water plant relations using direct and indirect morpho-metric; roductive and physiological surveys under field conditions and application of crop models; Productive, eco-physiological and qualitative response of crops to abiotic stresses (drought and salinity); Protein crops and Andean crops (quinoa and amaranth); Irrigation management and study of best agronomic practices on herbaceous crops.
Presentation Title: Alternative crops production: an opportunity vs climate change in Mediterranean area.
 
Dr. Saddam Hussain
Web of Science 2021 Highly Cited Researcher. He has been recognized with several international distinctions/awards in recent years. He published over 100 refereed journal papers, many of which have sought to understand the morphological, physiological, biochemical and molecular basis of crop responses (rice in particular) to individual and concurrent abiotic stresses and mechanisms imparting tolerance for such stresses. He has an h-index over 50.
Research Interests: Phytochelatins; Plant Environmental Stress Physiology; Plant-Soil Interactions; Abiotic Stress Tolerance

Prof. Dr. Pierina Visciano 
Associate professor, Faculty of Bioscience and Technology for Food, Agriculture and Environment, University of Teramo, Italy
Brief Introduction: Author of many scientific publications edited in national and international journals, proceedings of national and international congresses, and book chapters. H-index: 15.
Research Interests: food law; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons; fish and fishery products; chemical hazards such as biogenic amines, veterinary drugs, and environmental contaminants (i.e., mycotoxins, heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and marine biotoxins)

Research Interest: Botanical contributions to improve restoration and soil bioengineering work; Agronomic, morphometric and phytochemical characterization of plant agrobiodiversity; Ecology of rare/endemic plants of the Alps; Floristic, ecological and phytosociological analyses of plant communities.

Brief Introduction: He is committed to studying Food Packaging, Active packaging for shelf-life extension, Edible films and capsules, Bioplastic for food packaging, Freezing technology of foods, etc. Current H-index 26 (Google scholar).

Brief Introduction: She published nearly 100 scientific articles with H-index over 35, mostly known for her research into the health benefits of polyphenols-containing foods and beverages.

Dr. Pankaj B Pathare

Dr. Marian BUTU
Senior Researcher at National Institute of Research and Development for Biological Sciences, Bucharest, ROMANIA
Brief Introduction: he received several awards such as the Award "Sergiu HARTIA" of Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu-Sisesti", the Award "Traian Savulescu" of Romanian Academy Prize, the Award Most Activ EPS REVIEWER 21st International Multidisciplinary Scientific Geoconference SGEM. He was project director for 12 projects (3 international) and research team member in over 20 projects (9 international). He published over 10 books/ book chapters, more than 125 scientific papers (49 indexed in WoS, h-index 15) and is author of over 145 communications. 
Research Interests: microbial and vegetal biotechnology for producing of biomaterials and bioproducts with applications in high-tech, agro-food, footwear and medical industries, biotechnology and bioinformatics.
